Lochgoilhead Free Church began with summer services in 1855; a wooden church was erected in 1858. The charge was not fully sanctioned until 1883, when a new church was built. It passed successively to the United Free Church and the Church of Scotland, and united with Lochgoilhead The Three Brethren as Kilmorich in 1952. The Church of Scotland charge was in the presbytery of Dunoon and the synod of Argyll. |
