Kilmarnock, Grange Free Church was formed in 1786 by a group of dissenters from Kilmarnock High Free Church. It was sanctioned in 1877 and passed successively to the United Free Church and the Church of Scotland. The Church of Scotland charge is in the presbytery of Irvine and Kilmarnock and was, until the abolition of synods in 1993, in the synod of Ayr. |
