Henry Drummond Church, Glasgow, began with Free Church mission work in Possilpark around 1870. The church building, in Allander Street, dated from 1881. In 1891 the charge was sanctioned separately and became successively Possil Park Free Church, Henry Drummond Free Church and Henry Drummond United Free Church. The congregation terminated in 1967 on uniting with Trinity Possil as Trinity Possil and Henry Drummond. As a Church of Scotland charge it was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Clydesdale. |
