Greengairs Free Church began in 1873, with a church and manse built in the following year. It passed successively to the United Free Church and the Church of Scotland, in the latter case as Greengairs East, but was almost immediately united with Greengairs as Greengairs. The Church of Scotland charge was in the presbytery of Hamilton and the synod of Clydesdale. |
