Fyvie Free Church originated at the Disruption, when the minister and a large number of the congregation adhered to the Free Church. A church building was erected in the same year. It passed to the United Free Church and the Church of Scotland, in the latter case as Fyvie Woodhead, which united with Fyvie as Fyvie in 1959. The Church of Scotland charge was in the presbytery of Turriff and the synod of Aberdeen. |
