Old Meldrum United Secession Church originated in 1824 after prolonged negotiations involving the nearby Secession congregation of Craigdam. It never flourished greatly in numbers, but transferred successively to the United Presbyterian and United Free Churches. The United Free church, Old Meldrum Albert Road, united with Old Meldrum North as Old Meldrum United Free in 1905. The United Free charge was in the presbytery of Donside and synod of Aberdeen. |
