Dalguise and Strathbraan Free Church originated at the Disruption. A church was erected immediately at Dalguise and another at Strathbraan in 1844. The united charge was sanctioned in 1845. It transferred to the United Free Church and subsequently to the Church of Scotland. In 1947 as a result of a local union Strathbraan transferred to Amulree and Dalguise to Little Dunkeld. The Church of Scotland charge was in the presbytery of Dunkeld and the synod of Perth and Stirling. |
