St Andrew?s East Church, Glasgow, began at the Disruption, when the minister and congregation of St Andrew?s Church joined the Free Church. Their first building was in Hanover Square, but in 1891 they united with Free St Paul?s and moved east to Alexandra Parade at Eastercraigs (church built 1904), as St Andrew?s Free (later St Andrew?s East United Free) Church. As a Church of Scotland charge the church was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Clydesdale. |
