Rafford Free Church was formed at the Disruption, when the minister and most of his congregation adhered to the Free Church. A new church was built soon afterwards. It passed successively to the United Free Church and the Church of Scotland, in the latter case as Rafford High, which united with Rafford Old as Rafford in 1939. The Church of Scotland charge was in the presbytery of Elgin and the synod of Moray. |
