Dallas Free Church was formed at the Disruption, when a number of the existing congregation adhered to the Free Church. A church building was erected in 1845 (reconstructed 1870). It passed successively to the United Free Church and the Church of Scotland, in the latter case as Dallas High, which united with Dallas Old as Dallas St Michael's Kirk in 1952. The Church of Scotland charge was in the presbytery of Elgin and the synod of Moray. |
