Udny Free Church was organised as a congregation soon after the Disruption and a church was built in the same year (replaced on another site, 1864). It passed successively to the United Free Church and the Church of Scotland, in the latter case as Pitmedden, which united with Udny as Udny and Pitmedden in 1931. The United Free charge was in the presbytery and synod of Aberdeen. |
