Cullen Free Church was originally a small congregation formed at the Disruption, with a church opened in 1844 and the sanctioning of a charge thereafter. It passed successively to the United Free Church, as Cullen Seafield, and the Church of Scotland. The Church of Scotland charge, which was in the presbytery of Fordyce and the synod of Aberdeen, united with Cullen Old as Cullen in 1946. |
