Turriff Free Church was formed at the Disruption, with a church building completed in 1844 (replaced on the same site, 1898). It passed successively to the United Free Church and the Church of Scotland, in the latter case as Turriff St Andrew's. The Church of Scotland charge is in the presbytery of Buchan (formerly Turriff) and was in the synod of Aberdeen until the abolition of synods in 1993. |
