Calderbank Mission Station was already in existence in 1900, when it transferred to the United Free Church. A church building followed in 1901 and status as a full charge in the following year. A provisional union with the Church of Scotland took place in 1928, a year before the national union, and the United Free church became a hall. The United Free charge was in the presbytery of Hamilton and the synod of Glasgow. |
