Sighthill Church, Glasgow, originated in mission work in Springburn by Tron Free Church. The church, in Springburn Road at Mollinsburn Street, dated from 1872 and was known as Sighthill Free (later United Free) Church. The congregation was terminated in 1978 on uniting with four other Springburn churches as Springburn, and the building was destroyed by fire three years later. As a Church of Scotland charge it was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Clydesdale. |
