Gordon Park Church, Glasgow, originated as a Free Church preaching station in Whiteinch in 1873. The church, as Whiteinch Free (later United Free) Church, was built in Dumbarton Road at Victoria Park Street in 1877. The name changed to Gordon Park in 1929 at the union with the Church of Scotland. The church terminated in 1981 on uniting with Jordanvale as Whiteinch. As a Church of Scotland charge it was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Clydesdale. |
