Hillhead Church, Glasgow, was disjoined from Govan as a quoad sacra parish in 1882 and terminated in 1950 on uniting with Belmont as Belmont and Hillhead. The church building, in Saltoun Street, dates from 1876. As a Church of Scotland charge it was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Glasgow and Ayr (later Clydesdale). |
