Titwood Church, Glasgow, originated as an established church as the result of the feuing out of the area in the 1870s and 1880s. A minister was appointed in 1886 and a church built in Glencairn Drive in 1895. Titwood was disjoined as a quoad sacra parish in 1901. It terminated in 1941 on uniting with Pollokshields St Kentigern?s as Pollokshields-Titwood. It was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Glasgow and Ayr (later Clydesdale). |
