Perth St Leonard's was originally erected as an extension church and the General Assembly granted a constitution to the district in 1835. The parish of Perth St Leonard's was later erected by the Court of Teinds on the 20th December 1865. In 1944 the former United Free Church congregation of Perth St Columba's united with St Leonard's, after the union the united charge continued under the name of Perth St Leonard's and the former St Columba's church and manse were sold. A further union later followed in 1985 with Perth North, under the name of Perth North Kirk Session. |
