The Kirk Session of Selkirk Heatherlie was established in 1877, when it was disjoined from the Parish of Selkirk. Ministers to the parish are recorded from that time. Selkirk Heatherlie formed part of the Presbytery of Selkirk from 1877 until 1929, when it became part of the Presbytery of Melrose. With the restructuring of presbyteries in 1976, it became part of the Presbytery of Melrose and Peebles. Selkirk Heatherlie united with Selkirk Lawson Memorial and Selkirk St. Mary?s West in 1986, under the name Selkirk, and was linked with Ashkirk and with Caddonfoot. The link with Caddonfoot was terminated in 1992. |
