Paisley Greenlaw was erected as an independent parish in 1896 when it was disjoined from Paisley Abbey by the Court of Teinds, a church had been built here a number of years prior in 1889. In 1997 Paisley Greenlaw formed a union with Paisley Sherwood under the name of Paisley Sherwood Greenlaw. The kirk session has sat within the Presbytery of Paisley throughout its existence. |
