The parish of Prinlaws (quoad sacra) was disjoined from that of Leslie and erected as a separate parish on the 16th November 1891. The parish was later reduced in status in 1951 and a union followed shortly afterwards in 1955 with Leslie West, under the name of Leslie West and Prinlaws. A further union was established in 1956 with Leslie Logan-Martin to form the session of Leslie Trinity. The kirk session has fallen under the jurisdiction of the Presbytery of Kirkcaldy throughout its existence. |
