The parish of Ardler was disjoined from that of Coupar-Angus on the 1st June 1885 and ministry of the session is recorded from the same year in the person of Robert Milne. In 1960 Ardler and Kettins established a link under the ministry of Rev R.M.B. Scott, minister at Kettins and the two chargers later united in 1981, along with Meigle, under the name of Ardler, Kettins and Meigle. The kirk session sat within the jurisdiction of the Presbytery of Meigle, until the restructuring of the presbyteries in 1976, when it became part of the Presbytery of Dunkeld and Meigle. |
