The church of Dalrymple, Ayrshire, served a medieval parish which was a prebend of the Chapel Royal, Stirling. It was rebuilt in 1764 and 1849. The charge is in Ayr presbytery and is now linked with Crosshill. Until the reorganisation of 1929 it was in the synod of Glasgow and Ayr, thereafter in that of Ayr until the abolition of synods in 1993. |
