The church of Kincardine O'Neil was dedicated to St Erchard and the Parish formerly existed as a prebend of Aberdeen. Ministry of the session is recorded from 1567 in the person of Alexander Eustache, a Romish priest who conformed and became a reader. In 1980 Kincardine O'Neil established a link with the charge of Lumphanan and the two later united along with Torphins to form the session of Mid Deeside. |
