The Caledonian Church, Holloway was opened on the 21st January 1847, having been purchased from the Congregationalists in the previous year by the Presbytery of London as a place of worship for the Scottish Presbyterians of the District. Ministry of the session is recorded from 1847 in the person of John Tod Brown, formerly the minister of the second charge of Dunfermline. In 1938 London Caledonian Church, Holloway united with Crown Court and the church was sold to the Boy Scouts Association. After the union the session became known as London Crown Court. The Kirk Session of Caledonian Church, Holloway sat within the Presbytery of London and later of England. |
