The register of the Synod of Aberdeen begins on the 21st October 1651. In the beginning the Synod was made up of the following presbyteries; Aberdeen, Kincardine O'Neil, Alford, Garioch, Ellon, Deer, Turriff and Fordyce. The earliest records of the Synod of Aberdeen date from 1651. It was known as the Synod of Grampian from 1976. |
