Bargeddie Parish Church was first built in 1875 and the parish of Bargeddie was disjoined from Old Monkland and erected into a separate parish in 1876. The Kirk session of Bargeddie has sat within the jurisdiction of the Presbytery of Hamilton throughout its existence. |
