A church was opened at Ferryhill, Aberdeen in 1873 and the parish of Ferryhill was disjoined from Holburn in 1879 and erected as a separate parish, quoad sacra. The Kirk Session became known as Ferryhill North to distinguish it from the Ferryhill United Free Church, which was termed Ferryhill South, and in 1990 the two charges of Ferryhill North and Ferryhill South united together under the name of Ferryhill. |
