In the General Assembly of 1581 there was a proposal to errect in Strathdon a court to be called the Presbytery of Kildrummy. No further action is known to have taken place until 1606 and the Presbytery records begin at 26 November 1662. In an Act of Assembly XXII of 1962 the Presbytery of Deeside and the Presbytery of Alford were united under the name of the Presbytery of Deeside and Alford. |
