Mallaig Kirk Session existed as a Church of Scotland mission station under an ordained probationary minister until 1931 when it was united with the former United Free Church congregation of Arisaig and Small Isles. After this union the former mission church became the Mallaig Parish Church and the former United Free Church was converted for use as the church hall. In 1972 Mallaig was linked with Knoydart to form the session of Mallaig St Columba and Knoydart. The kirk session sits within the Presbytery of Lochaber. |
