Springburn North Hill Church, Glasgow, originated with Springburn Parish Church, whose building in Hillkirk Street was dedicated in 1842. It was disjoined from Barony parish and erected into a quoad sacra parish in 1854. In 1967 it terminated on uniting with the former Free Church of Springburn North as Springburn North Hill. The joint congregation continued to worship in the Springburn church until terminated in turn on uniting with three other local churches as Springburn. It was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Glasgow and Ayr (later Clydesdale). |
