The parish of Creiff West was disjoined from that of Creiff on the 20th July 1864. A chapel had previously been built within what were to become the parish boundaries which was granted a chapel constitution by the General Assembly in 1838. In 1955 Creiff West united with Creiff North to form the session of Creiff St Andrew's. After the union the Creiff West Church was developed into the St Ninians Lay Training Center. Creiff St Andrew's later united with Creiff St Michael's in 1989, under the name of Creiff St Andrew's and St Michael's, and a further union was established in 1997 with Creiff South and Monzievaird to form the charge of Creiff. The kirk session sat within the Presbytery of Auchterarder until the restructuring of the presbyteries in 1976 when it became part of the Presbytery of Perth. |
