Woodside Church, Glasgow, began with mission work by the established church in the 1870s. The church, in Great Western Road near Park Road, was initially known as St Oswald?s Chapel. Woodside was disjoined as a quoad sacra parish in 1921 and terminated in 1959 on uniting with Lansdowne (I) as Lansdowne Woodside. It was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Glasgow and Ayr (later Clydesdale). |
