Bridge of Allan St Andrew's was originally constituted quoad sacra, that is for ecclesiastical purposes only, without civil responsibility or jurisdiction. A chapel was built there in 1855 and it was disjoined from Logie and erected in 1868. It was in the Presbytery of Dunblane (later Stirling and Dunblane, later Stirling). St Andrew's united with Bridge of Allan Trinity in 1942 to form Bridge of Allan Holy Trinity. |
