Calton Old Church began as a chapel of ease in Tobago Street, Glasgow, in 1793 and was erected as a parish (as Calton) in 1849. In 1934 the congregation moved to a new address in Helenvale Street. The parish terminated in 1977 on uniting with Parkhead and Dalmarnock as Calton Parkhead. It was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Glasgow and Ayr (later Clydesdale). |
