In around the year 1500 the two parishes of Moy and Dalarossie were united together to form the parish of Moy and Dalarossie. After the union both retained its own church. Ministry of the session is recorded from 1576 in the person of James Duff. Following 1929 and the union of the Church of Scotland and the United Free Church, the former United Free Church station of Moy was united with Moy and Dalarossie under the name of Moy Dalarossie and Tomatin. In 1970 a link was formed with Daviot and Dunlichty. The kirk session sits within the Presbytery of Inverness. |
