Admin history

On the 14th July 1618 the two ancient parishes of Wardlaw and Farnua were united together and the united parish was given the name Kirkhill. In 1934 Kirkhill Parish Church was united with the former United Free Church congregation of Kirkhill St Mary's. Following the local union both churches remained in use. Kiltarlity and Kirkhill were linked together in 1982. The kirk session sits within the Presbytery of Inverness.
