Chryston East Church, Lanarkshire, began as a meeting-house in the parish of Cadder in 1688 or earlier. A church was built as a chapel of ease in 1779 and the parish disjoined from Cadder in 1870. In 1950 it terminated on uniting with Chryston West. It was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Glasgow and Ayr (later Clydesdale). |
