Park Church, Glasgow, originated with mission work by the established church in 1857. The church building, in Lynedoch Place opposite Trinity College, was built in 1858, and the parish, as Park quoad sacra, was disjoined six years later. The charge terminated in 1966 on uniting with Giffnock Orchard Park as Giffnock The Park. It was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Glasgow and Ayr (later Clydesdale). |
