The Parish of Uddingston was disjoined quoad sacra from the Parish of Bothwell in 1874. Ministry of the session is recorded from the same year in the person of John Mackintosh. The session later became known as Uddingston Trinity and in 1982 it was united with the former United Free Church session of Uddingston Chalmers, under the name of Uddingston Chalmers Trinity. This name was later changed in 1984 to Uddingston Old. The kirk session sits within the Presbytery of Hamilton. |
