United in 1950 with Glasgow, London Road (Church of Scotland formerly United Presbyterian and United Free church) to form London Road - St. Clement's Kirk Session. A union took place in 1967 with the congregation of Bridgeton and Newhall, the new charge taking the name of Bridgeton Church of Scotland. A further union with the congregation of St Francis-ub-the-East took place on 26 June 1986 and the name chaned to Bridgeton St Francis in the East Church of Scotland. |
