The medieval church was dedicated to St Anne and was a prebend of the Cathedral of Dornoch. Ministry began in 1569 in the person of Alexander Patrick Grahameson, exhorter. The session was within the jurisdiction of Caithness Presbytery throughout. The church building underwent repair in 1790 and 1832-1833. On 15 January 1950 the session united with the United Free Church session and each church was used alternately. On 30 April 1980 the session was linked with Keiss. |
