Campsie High Church, Stirlingshire, was the successor to a medieval parish (originally Campsie and Antermony), held by the sacristan of Glasgow Cathedral and served by a vicar. The former church, in a churchyard in Lennoxtown, replaced a medieval building in Campsie Glen and was dedicated in 1828. The parish was terminated in 1979 and united with Campsie Trinity as Campsie. It was in the presbytery of Glasgow and the synod of Glasgow and Ayr (later Clydesdale). |
