Edinkillie existed of old as a vicarage and within the parish there were chapels at Tullidivie and Logie Tythenach and later a mission chapel at Darnaway. The present church was built in 1741. Edinikllie parish church was united with the former United Free Church congregation of Edinkillie West in 1930. The kirk session of Dyke was later linked with Edinkillie on 30 November 1979. The kirk session sat within the Presbytery of Forres, later of Elgin and presently of Moray. |
