The church of Collace was dedicated to St Ewan and prior to the reformation if belonged to the Abbey of Lindores. A new church was built at Collace in 1813. Following the union of the Church of Scotland and the United Free Church in 1929, Collace parish church was united with the United Free Church congregation of Balbeggie and Kinrossie in 1931. After the union, the Kinrossie church was closed for public worship in 1939 and later sold in 1948. The parish of Burrelton was later linked with Collace in 1965. The kirk session sits within the Presbytery of Perth. |
