Prior to the reformation the church of Kinglassie belonged to the Abbey of Dunfermline and it was dedicated to St Glastian. The parish church dates back in part to the 15th century however it was largely rebuilt in 1773. In 1979 Aucherderran was linked to Kinglassie. The kirk session sits within the Presbytery of Kirkcaldy and formerly the Synod of Fife. |
