The independent parishes of St Andrews and Lhanbryd were united in 1782, prior to the union St Andrews was a mensal kirk of the Bishop of Moray and Lhandryd was dedicated to St Bride. The charge was further united with Urquhart on the 14 November 1988 to form St Andrew's-Lhanbryde and Urquhart. The kirk session sat with the Presbytery of Elgin and later of Moray. |
