The earliest record of the church court of Kirkcaldy dates back to 25th April 1593, the register of the Presbytery begins on the 15th April 1630. Dunfermline Presbytery was linked with Kirkcaldy in 1688 and the two remained united until the end of the 17th century. The currents boundaries of the Presbytery of Kirkcaldy stretch between, Glenrothes in the north to Kirkcaldy in the south, Burntisland in the west and Leven in the east. |
