The church court of Kinross was erected by the General Assembly on the 30th May 1856. The parishes which originally formed the Presbytery were annexed form the Presbyteries of Perth, Auchterarder, Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline. By the late 19th century the court had become the Presbytery of Dunfermline and Kinross. It formerly sat within the Synod of Fife. |
